YPF Sociedad Anónima entered into an agreement to assign its interest in the Chachahuén conventional oil and gas cluster in Mendoza, Argentina, to Energía Mendocina S.A. and Compañía Andina de Petróleo y Gas S.A. for US$200 million, effective June 1, 2026. The transaction includes associated pipelines and material stock. YPF’s interest comprised 70% of Chachahuén Sur and Cerro Morado Este blocks, and 100% of Puesto Hernández and Chihuido de la Sierra Negra blocks. In Q2 2026, the cluster produced approximately 10 thousand barrels per day of oil and 0.03 million cubic meters per day of natural gas. This divestiture supports YPF’s 4x4 Plan to optimize its conventional upstream portfolio and focus on unconventional fields. YPF operates in the integrated energy sector, focusing on exploration, production, refining, and distribution of hydrocarbons.
